As we continued to talk, going through the motions of getting to know each other, I realized that we already did know each other, as well as any two people could. Weâd known each other for years, in the most intimate way possible. Weâd connected on a purely mental level. I understood her, trusted her, and loved her as a dear friend. there are different types of dance partners in SL... 1. the perv who is just looking for a vertical quickie and will have his hands all over you in 10 seconds flat. Those i just leave on the dance floor without bothering to find an excuse. 2. the boring one... he does not have much to say or is just chatting with someone else.. in any case.. you wonder if there is anybody alive behind the avi.. and after a bit I find a polite excuse and leave. 3. the good dance partner. He's polite and fun, a good conversationalist, and might even try to match the dance to the music. I ONLY dance with group #3 - which means, with rare exceptions, I only dance with those I know.
