The 27 Club honors popular musicians, artists, actors, and athletes who died at age 27, often as a result of drug and alcohol abuse or violence such as homicide, suicide, or transportation-related accidents. The Club features premier DJs of SL, offering music of different genres. The playlists of these DJs frequently include the hits of members of the "The 27 Club" but are not limited to songs of those artists. When there are no DJs streaming music, the radio is tuned to Blues Music Fan Radio. The Club is always open and offers an excellent assortment of dances, seating and gaming tables (with scoreboards). The intimate club was built by Sara Box of Sara Design.

DJ Mist (procrati.mistwallow) describes herself as a "recovering academic" who started in SL as an Internet and academic researcher. That was thirteen years ago. She remains in SL to explore and expand her horizons,. Raised in by a classical musician, SL has allowed Mist to explore a world of genres and an entirely new platform for immersion in the arts. She entered and explores with the passion, energy and dedication that has marked her other interests, and now shares that knowledge and passion for the genre by DJing. Mist is a remarkable woman and a fantastic DJ.
