My husband and I celebrating his birthday. We'd been married over 10 years when this picture was taken and by then I had fully embraced the lifestyle to which he had introduced me after we married. Strange to think how it had all began so innocently. What he asked of me seemed strange at first but I so wanted to please him I was willing to do almost anything for him. Of course, if I was reluctant or refused, he had his ways of convincing me to do what I was told. Before I knew it he was taking me to his clubs and introducing me to his friends. In time I became more than willing to do whatever he asked.

A photo of me in my 20's when I was at university. This was taken at a Christmas party where I first met my future husband. I was very much a romantic then, thought it was a love that would last forever. It's difficult to believe now how naive I was back then. We married a year later. He took a position as an Associate Professor at a small university and I began working at the library there.
