I don't talk about 'family' often in SL. I am fortunate to have met some wonderful people in SL who become 'family' of sorts. Years ago, I met a wonderful woman, Lani. We quickly became sisters, Even though we do not talk everyday, we will always be close. Lani has a daughter, Blue. Blue and I talk almost everyday. She truly is a gentle soul with a huge heart, Blue is rather playful, dare i say mischievous. I once lived next door to my sister and Blue at wonderful equestrain center. I never did move into my house becuase someone...Blue... filled my home with popcorn, LOTS of popcorn. I never asked her to clean it up, it made me smile.That was well over a year ago. I rarely ride my horses now, but my sis and Blue do. They invited me over to visit and ride. They suggested that keep my horse there, which I did. I just got a picture from my niece Blue (9/18/25)...I love my family! My sister said to me, "Lani K'A (aolanielikapeka): sighs... why are you always half naked ?" Am I?

Every so often, life brings someone into your world who quietly changes everything. What begins as friendship grew into much more I came to care deeply for someone who deserved more light, more support, more happiness than she had been given. And in that moment, my path shifted in the best way. Thatâs when I adopted my amazing daughter, Tate. She is truly remarkableâgifted, thoughtful, intelligent and sensitive. Her kindness runs deep, but make no mistake, itâs matched by a powerful strength and resilience. She is a bit of a troublemaker too!
