Prepare to have your mind blown... The Looking Glass is a magical and beautiful place full to the brim of seductive fairy-tale mystery and romance. And did I mention they have their own 'ballroom'? (You will discover this soon, as it is in fact where the tp goes, heh) Well, they do, so grab your better half and come join the dance, or maybe find that elusive soulmate here? Who knows. Perhaps best of all, the masterful designers of the place actually sell their creations in a simbound shop. I don't have my own sim yet, but I know when I get it somewhere in the far future, my first stop will be the Looking Glass shop to populate it with that gorgeous Roman basilica, or maybe the romantic floating islands, or the Victorian house? Oh fuck it, I'll put it all in there and it will be a glorious mishmash of romance and mystique. Pcccccccccttt! (That was the sound of your mind blowing)

Snarky's Dirty Dancing Club

Snarky's Dirty Dancing Club has quickly become one of my favourite hangouts. It is nowhere near as flashy as some of the bigger clubs, but it has its charm, as well as a super friendly atmosphere. I just can't seem to get enough of this cozy little place, and I've already made several friends there. Also, just to get it out of our system, because I've already heard it a hundred times... Lets say it together. NOBODY PUTS BABY IN A CORNER! So come on by, have a laugh and a dance and listen to some tunes, and together we'll keep out of the dark corners

Big Daddy's... Rock Club. OR Big Doodoo as a friend calls it. I know, without that last bit, it sounds an awful lot like an adult sim, but it is actually a super friendly place, strictly PG and family friendly, playing... well, ROCK (In case the name was in any way not suggestive enough. No smart ass comments about collecting rocks, please). There's always activity, always good music, so come along, dance on the line (sponsored by SPOT ON (No, I don't get add revenue for this referal. Outrageous, isn't it?)) and listen to the tunes.

Everything Except Mainstream... With a motto like that you expect to find a sim full of blue haired fruitcakes and diversity activists, right? I have not been there long enough to really say, yet, but according to a trusted source at least, the sim is chok full of lesbians. So partly right I suppose. Warning, they are supposedly attracted to short hair, so ladies not wanting attention from the lesbos, wear your long locks while here. Jokes aside, there's good music here, always. Its not the kind I would listen to on a lazy sunday, not really my taste at all truth be told, but it does seem to fit the atmosphere of an UNDERGROUND CLUB, paired with the constantly blinking strobe lights in a multitude of vivid colours, so yeah, it works in a way. In summary, its a good place to loiter when you got nothing better to do. Expose yourself to some new musical ideas and watch the weird and varied fashion styles of the SL crowd... And get hit on by lesbians apparently. Ladies, don't say I didn't warn you.

Waterfalls of Dreams

Possibly THE most romantic place in SL, and therefore at the top of my list. (Ok, so the list is arranged alphabetically it turns out, but you get the jist.) Everyone deserves to experience the Waterfalls at least once in their life. Yes, it's THAT amazing. Update: Sadly the Waterfalls are no more... But it will live on here in eternal memory of SL's most magical place.

Music 24/7. Need you know more? Ok ok... Muddy's Music Cafe is a friendly place, playing mostly pop and soft rock. There's always activity, and it gets quite crowded at peak hours, so make sure your connection can handle it, or you won't be able to enjoy that non-stop flow of sweet, sweet music. A few slight negatives are the dj's really, REALLY like to talk in between songs and the hosts enforce a strictly moderate dresscode, so cover up your bits.

It's a Gentlemen's Club. Stress on "Gentleman". Yes, it is a D/s sex club, but the code of conduct is polite and respectful, and you can expect the male guests to be well dressed, which is a welcome change. This goes for both genders, so be sure to read the rules before entering, to make sure you keep with the dresscode. Of course, ladies are expected to be submissive here, with the same focus on good manners as applies to the men, but nevertheless it IS a D/s sim, and there is no room for femdom. The sim CAN get rather crowded depending on the time of day, but if you can avoid the American rush hour, you should be safe. It is also quite nicely designed, with limited adds and no photo posters on the walls, so the atmosphere is appreciative, luxurious and on theme.
